Three Willow Creek Poker friends walked into a bar... (click here)

It all started with Kenny's Food!  After cooking for Poker Night in Willow Creek neighborhood every Tuesday night for over a decade, we decided "if we ever find the right location", we need to share Kenny's amazing chilis, pulled pork, meatball subs, and chicken with everyone in the community.  A few years later, the location of the former Wingin' It became available, and we jumped on it.  

After 5 months of construction and permits, our vision for Papa's Public House came to life on September 26, 2024!  

Kenny Scriber is a veteran of the US Army and a Certified Chef, Ray Ettel has an extensive and successful career in Restaurant Operations, and Robert Murphy is a long time Willow Creek resident and marketing specialist with iHeart Media.  (you may also know Mrs. Murphy teaching at Willow Creek Elementary)

As Willow Creek residents, we missed having a comfortable spot to watch the games, listen to live music, and enjoy a few pints with friends!

The name "Papa's Public House" seemed natural for what we wanted to create...

A)  We are 3 old dads.  

B)  Public Houses (Pubs) are known as the community gathering place in England/Ireland.  

C) It was a loose nod to long-time Willow Creek establishment "Mama's".

Now the garage door is open to the sunny patio, the stage is built for live bands every Friday and Saturday night, 8 jumbo TVs have all the games all the time, and Kenny's amazing food is available to the whole community 7 days a week!  We hope you enjoy our vision and come join us for a pint!!
